Parenthood through Surrogacy has its challenges we know them exceptionally well. Regardless if you are a heterosexual, LGBTQ+, individual or couple living in the United States or abroad, we have successfully navigated these journies before. We are with you every step of the way providing guidance, legal, accounting, and financial support. We offer a multitude of surrogacy options to support your family vision.
The First Step: The Questionaire/Consultation
As a prospective parent, your path starts with a consultation with filling out our questionnaire will help us determine the best surrogate match for your family. Should you have any questions before filling out our questionnaire, you can call us at 208.284.7748 or email us at [email protected].
From there, we set up a consultation with Tess Shawler (Owner of Rocky Mountain Surrogacy). This typically lasts 2-3 hours. It is free of charge and allows you to share your story and helps us understand how to create an incredible experience for you.
Our consultations typically happen over the phone, Skype, or preferably in person. Our goal is to provide you all the details of our process and align our process with your vision and expectations. We will also address the technical issues like finding the right egg donor and/or a surrogate, legalities, medical insurance, the associated costs, etc.
Each State and Country has different laws affecting your rights as a parent. We will identify the considerations that pertain to your unique circumstances and only match you with a Surrogate from a state where you can ensure your child’s safe and legally secure return.

The Second Step: Agreement for Services
Agreement for Services. Once the Agreement is signed, you will be paired with Tess Shawler (Owner of Rocky Mountain Surrogacy).
She will be with you through every phase of the process and coordinate the logistics involved with scheduling medical appointments, overseeing the IVF retrieval/transfer for your surrogate and egg donor (if applicable).
Along your journey, you and Tess will be communication so that you are involved and aware throughout the experience.
The Third Step: Conception and Pregnancy
Typically during weeks 6 and 7 of pregnancy, you will get to experience your baby’s heartbeats! We follow that up with 10-week and 20-week ultrasounds. From there, around 1 -2 months prior to delivery, we begin the process of making all the necessary hospital arrangements for the birth of your child.
The Fourth Step: Bringing Your Baby Home
The most exciting time has finally arrived! You get to take your baby(s) home while our legal team irons out last legalities.
For domestic parents, you could potentially go home within a day or two of your baby’s release from the hospital. International parents should anticipate remaining in the state of birth for two to four weeks after the child is discharged from the hospital.
By the time you take your baby home, you will have all the required documentation for your home state or country. We provide all the legal documents you need to help ensure a hassle-free trip home. We handle all the legalities while you get to love on your new baby.
